We adopted Toby on Christmas Eve 2013. He turned 10 in February 2014.

He had lived on a farm his whole life.

When I first met Toby he jumped into my car as if to say “let’s be off”.

We already have 2 Dalmatians – adopted after the death of their owner so was wondering about the sense in the idea to add another large dog to the family. I had previously owned a beautiful Toby who was a rescue dog and it seems that my new Toby has many of the same characteristics.

Whilst I badly wanted to cuddle Toby it was difficult as he was smelly and his fur very corse. He scratched and licked various parts of his body excessively.

I gave him a bath and dried him off as well as I could – but he was still smelly. The smell seemed to come from his skin. The skin on Toby’s tummy was quite black and it was not dirt. I worried that he might have a thyroid condition.

I started him on Mila (chia) straight away. Double doses for 2 weeks. I also put him on a raw food diet with the addition of cooked rice and raw vegies and fruit.

Within a couple of days his smell started to abate and he was scratching less.

I took him to our wonderful vet for a check up. The vet noted that Toby had had a hard life. Toby’s two canine teeth are snapped off and his front teeth tiny nubs. He has a cauliflower ear from an aural hematoma which had not been treated along with mange.

My poor boy!

Within 2 weeks Toby was a new dog. Running around like a puppy, jumping up to meet me at the gate and also trying to climb onto the bed. He tries to run as fast as our dalmations and seems not put out in the slightest that he can’t keep up with them. Toby acts like a 3 year old. Toby’s tummy is skin coloured now with only the slightest tinge of black around the edges of his tummy.

We hope to have Toby for many years to come and with Harley Boys All Natural Dog Treats and a good diet I think we will be lucky.

A very happy puppy thanks to Mila (chia)! Thanks for sharing Kira’s story Colleen so happy to hear Kira’s life is much improved simply by adding food! Love my Mila (Chia)! Kira – Miniature Pinscher 5yrs. We have had huge problems with Kira & allergies for the last 3-4 yrs, we’ve moved house, changed her food, given her washes galore to help her & nothing worked. She was on constant medications morning & night, had licked the hair off her paws and was red raw in places at times. There were some weeks where all the medication just wasn’t doing anything for her at all & she was miserable… I was also always worried about the damage that having her so heavily medicated was doing to her internal organs so when I heard that Mila (chia) had stopped allergies in a friends dog & that it was a purely natural food source I jumped at trying it out… It worked so well that within 2-3 weeks we had her weaned off all medication and she had stopped licking etc… she is just so much happier within herself & her quality of life has been totally transformed by this awesome product… I would totally recommend Mila (chia) to anyone who has a dog with allergies… As can be seen in the photo taken today (27th Nov 13) that her legs are fully covered in hair (barring a few places on one where the vet just removed a splint from her leg due to a broken foot, which is almost completely healed now) 3 months ago her legs were red raw in places… it’s a massive improvement…

This is my dog Coby – he’s 16mths old and has hip dysplasia – which is resulting in arthritis forming in his hips which is very painful. To help support his joints I give him Mila (chia) every day, as opposed to Fish Oil…… the fish oil gave him reflux and he was constantly burping (yuck), then I found out about Mila (chia) which has more Omega 3s than salmon, PLUS lots of other nutritional goodies.
